Treatment Abroad Disclaimer
Treatment outside the UK can be a good option for some patients, but it is important to understand how it differs.
Who treats you
Treatment in Türkiye is provided by Medical Dental Turkey in Antalya, an independent partner clinic that is not owned by Okay Health Ltd. That clinic and its clinicians hold clinical responsibility for the care they provide, and treatment is subject to their own consent process and terms.
Different regulatory system
Clinics outside the UK are regulated by the authorities of the country in which they operate, not by UK regulators. Routes for complaints, redress and professional regulation differ from those available in the UK.
Travel and timing
- Treatment often requires more than one visit, particularly where healing time is needed.
- Plans can change after clinical findings are confirmed, which may affect your dates.
- Flying too soon after surgery may not be advisable; follow your clinician's guidance.
- You are responsible for travel documents, insurance and travel arrangements.
Insurance
Standard travel insurance may not cover planned medical or dental treatment or complications arising from it. We recommend checking your policy carefully and considering specialist cover.
Aftercare in the UK
We help coordinate communication with the treating clinic and, where appropriate, UK follow-up appointments. Any clinical review in the UK is carried out by a registered dental professional and may be subject to a fee. See our Aftercare Information.
Our role
Okay Health Ltd coordinates your journey. We do not provide treatment abroad, and we do not guarantee the outcome of treatment provided by an independent clinic.
