All-on-4 & All-on-6

Full-arch approaches that use four or six implants to support a fixed set of replacement teeth.

About this treatment

All-on-4 and All-on-6 are full-arch treatment approaches in which a fixed bridge is supported by four or six implants. The number of implants and the design of the bridge are clinical decisions made by the treating dental team after assessment.

Who it may suit

Full-arch treatment is considered where most or all teeth in an arch are missing or unrestorable. Bone volume, bite and general health are all assessed before a plan is confirmed.

What the journey involves

  1. 1UK consultation to understand your situation and expectations
  2. 2Detailed imaging and full-arch assessment
  3. 3Treatment planning by the clinical team, including any preparatory work
  4. 4Implant placement and provisional bridge as clinically appropriate
  5. 5Review appointments and the definitive bridge once healing allows

Things to consider

  • Treatment usually involves more than one visit over several months.
  • A temporary bridge may be used while healing takes place.
  • Long-term results depend on maintenance and regular professional review.

This page is general information and is not a diagnosis or a recommendation. Suitability and outcomes depend on an individual clinical assessment by a registered dental professional, and results vary between patients. We do not publish prices because costs depend on the plan agreed after assessment.
